The development of the AI, which the Albanian PM foresees will be concluded within a year, is surprising not the least because the Albanian language is not commonly present in voice assistant libraries.

A literally “MASSIVE” language dataset - Voicebot
MASSIVE (yes, aggressively written in all caps) is the name that Amazon has aptly given to the 51-language dataset it has launched to support multilingual Alexa development. The idea behind is that a single machine learning model will be fed information in all kinds of languages. As it understands the principle of languages, it will be able to fill in the gaps in the training data and teach the AI to speak in those languages.

End of last year, Amazon has launched Alexa Smart Properties, its voice assistance hospitality program in Europe, allowing hotels and other facilities to integrate Alexa into their room and management systems. Guests are able to perform standard Alexa actions such as checking the weather and playing music. Furthermore, they can carry out hotel-specific tasks such as controlling the temperature of the room, as well as getting tourist information and checking out, all through voice.
