From the President:

The weather has finally gotten a bit nicer out and the course is greening up!  I hope that you all have had a chance to come out and play a round or two.  Leagues have kicked off and we are almost in full swing!

James and his crew have been busy, the new retaining walls on a few of the tee boxes have been filled in and seeded, so please stay of the freshly seeded areas for now.  They have been working on getting the final few legs of the new irrigation up and running.  We appreciate all of the hard work James has put in to get this new system working 100%.  The fountains are in, the new mower has been put to work, and the course is on track to be it's best this season!

Deven has been busy getting leagues set up and running the pro shop.  He has a full staff inside and out.  Watch for new merchandise to hit the pro shop...we have new leather patch caps, and new LevelWear items expected any day now.  New clubs will be sure to improve your game...so let Deven fit you for a custom set of clubs, and he can order them in for you!  All pro shop merchandise does go towards your annual Use It Or Lose It, so if you're looking for some new gear, be sure to see if Deven can order in what we don't have in stock.  Deven and Karsyn are available for lessons, so be sure to take advantage of this offering!

Leagues have started and as the days get longer, we will work towards the 5:30 start times.  As of now, leagues are starting at 5:15.  Mixed league on Tuesdays features 3 flights of 9 teams, for a total of 27 couples. Mens league has also increased this year with a total of 15 teams.  Ladies league will start June 8th.  It will be teams of 2 again this year, and will alternate league golf, and a fun scramble every other week. Kickoff Breakfast for ladies league will be June 5th, which Tara and Brad have come up with an exciting menu...Mimosa bar, omelet bar, french toast shooters...and more!  Call Deven to get signed up!  It's exciting to see this many members out for leagues this year.

In the bar/kitchen...  Tara has done an excellent job over the past month, cooking, organizing, cleaning, staffing...she has done it all and we can't thank her and Deven enough for stepping up and being such a great team!  Our former cook, Mike has quit, and Tara has a great new team in place with the hiring of Hile and Brad.  Brad will be our new chef, working with Tara to create some fun theme dinners, Friday dining, and events in the near future.  You may have seen Hile behind the bar, but look for some lunch specials as well.  I heard amazing things about his street tacos at lunch last Thursday!  The entire board is very excited for the team in place.

Tara has plans to bring BINGO to the club on Mondays starting in June.  The house and social committee has some fun events in the works, and a few he/she's planned.  Stay tuned and be on the lookout for posters for these events!

I would like to thank all of the businesses that sponsored our new tee box signs, benches, and tournament advertising.  The new tee box signs are being completed by Mike at 406 Signs, and will be ready for installation next week.

Finally, a few housekeeping items.  The have been some rumors about the club taking part of the deuce pot.  Which is not true, the deuce pot is paid out 100%.  Sorry for any confusion on that.

The Capital Improvement fee was charged through Quickbooks this year, we wanted to keep that fee completely separate from your regular billing, so that all funds from the Capital Improvement fee gets put in an account used solely for paying off that loan.  To pay this you can either bring in cash or check to the club noting that it is to pay your Capital Improvement Fee, or you can click directly on the invoice you received VIA email and pay it with a card online from there.

We are doing an inventory of cart sheds, as we have some people wanting sheds and it appears that we are full.  It is our policy, and always has been the policy, If you are not a member, you are not allowed to use a private cart, and you are not allowed to store your cart in our sheds.   If you are a member and do have a cart shed, please let Deven know which shed your cart is stored in.  We will be going through all sheds that we do not have a record of being rented so that we can get some of these members into better sheds.

And, another friendly reminder, that we do NOT allow outside food or beverages to be consumed at the club.  Don't fill your coolers at home, don't pack a sandwich, don't have pizza delivered.  The kitchen will be offering dinner after leagues, lunch on Thursdays, and dinner after mens league.  We also are offering Grubbersputz pizzas and quesadillas when the kitchen is closed, so you will be able to get food at any time from the club.  We appreciate everyone supporting our staff as we enforce this policy.  This will include all members, guests, golf and bridge leagues.

If you have any questions, comments, concerns, etc..please feel free to reach out to me! Thank you.

Should I get a Range or Cart Plan?

The prices for rental carts and range balls have gone up this year...But the cost of a cart plan or range ball plan has not!  Take advantage of a cart or range plan today, give Kacie a call to add either to your membership...  406-951-7254

A Bucket of Rangeballs $9
Cart Seat $11 per 9 holes.
So a whole cart for 9 holes is $22.  If you and your significant other go out golfing, it will only take 20 times for the cart plan to pay for itself.

Rangeball Plans:
Individual $190
Couple $245
Family $285

Cart Plans
Individual $300
Couple $440
Family $500

Reminder:  Private carts are only allowed to full dues paying members.  Private carts may only be used by the full dues paying member and their children/grandchildren.

Example:  Bob and Sue Smith own their own cart, their son Dan Smith may also use their private cart...but Dans cousin George, may not use Bob and Sue's cart.

All private carts must pay a yearly "trail fee"  which allows members to bring their private cart onto the course.  If your private cart is stored onsite at the club, a yearly fee of $250 is charged for cart storage.  If you choose to store your cart at home, a yearly "private cart fee" of $100 is charged.
New pro shop merchandise is arriving daily!  We are expecting more clothing from LevelWear and more bags from Sun Mountain.  Stop in to see our new leather patch caps!
