I am wishing you clear skies tonight so that you can see the special lunar eclipse, which will be visible on the west coast just in time for its totality on Sunday May 15th at 9:11 p.m. (Pacific).
This month I've been contemplating what it is to be a willing agent of grace. I'm starting to think that we create room for grace by growing further into our soul purpose, what Bill Plotkin describes as our "unique ecological niche in the Earth community".
The modern world is in a state of profound hunger for soul. This is an inevitable condition, after centuries of growing ever more distant from the soul of the world. I count this as excellent news because it is something we can each have a hand in addressing.
If you are following the thread of our collective moment, you may have noticed a general feeling of disorientation as we assess the paltry and insufficient remnants of past "normals".
What a golden moment to grow something better and more whole in our lives. Instead of disorientation we can foster re-orientation to a deeper sense of purpose and connection. By doing so, we pull the curtain back to allow the light of grace to shine in.
