It can be hard for us to hear the words of the gospel today – love one another as I have loved you. It is strange isn’t it? We too often reserve love for the intimate relationship between a couple who are ‘in love’ or for domestic family love. You don’t hear politicians saying vote for me and I will love you. You don’t hear football coaches telling their teams – this afternoon I want you to get out there and love one another.

Bottle Tops Urgently Needed: Give your plastic lids a second life by donating them to OLGC Primary School for a collaborative art work to be completed later in the year. Suitable lids include milk bottle tops, colourful yoghurt lids, lids from spreads such as vegemite. Lids should be washed, clean and free from any food particles. The school require LOTS of lids so start collecting, and when you have enough drop them at the school reception, 12 Whitehorse Road, Deepdene.
