Happy May! The warmer weather is delightful and the kids are jumping for joy - just check out these photos of Mountain SOL’s recent frog migration!

This fun-filled in school day sent lower elementary students up the mountain at our Morgantown Learning Academy campus dressed in paper frog masks — as they followed clues to experience what it’s like to be a frog just trying to migrate safely to their favorite pond. 

Upper graders dressed as hawks, bears, snakes and other predators, and students also learned about human threats to frogs, like pesticide on grass and bug spray on human hands that pick them up!

This event was the celebration of 8 weeks of learning about frogs and raising them in classrooms as part of our weekly in school program at our mother school, Morgantown Learning Academy.

Giving Goats Fundraiser

A huge SHOUT OUT of thanks to the Morgantown Mountain Goats, players, parents and sponsors for the amazing Giving Goats fundraiser! 

Solely from the proceeds of this fundraiser, Mountain SOL has provided scholarships to EVERY child who has wanted to attend our school.  Mountain SOL is working hard to provide programming to kids outside of our MLA campus.  This fundraiser helps more kids to come to our programs!
