Take action in one of our Working Groups
Greetings everyone,
We wanted to thank all of you who came to the Welcome Webinar for such a great conversation and letting us know your interests.
Following on from this, we are putting out a call for several of our Working Groups looking for additional members.
The Constitution Working Group is looking for people who have the time and serious interest to help prepare updates on IAWM statutes and resolutions etc. And working on a new geographical organisation from continents into regions.
The Museum Definition Working Group is looking for people who are interested in the final stages of crafting a working definition for women’s museum and gender museum for our network members to use. This group aims to complete its work by the end of the (northern hemisphere) summer 2022.
The Social Media Working Group is looking for people who have expertise and skills in the area of social media to help IAWM create a social media planning/strategy.
Just a note that the Awards Working Group is currently paused until later in the year.
Each group has different ways of working, either via email or virtual meetings, and need different levels of commitment. If you are interested in any of these groups or just finding out more, please contact us with the subject heading of the working group you want to join so we can more efficiently process the requests.
