Attempt Thefts from Autos

May 16, 2022

On May 16, at approximately 5:30 am, while patrolling, Takoma Park Police noticed in the 6700 block of Eastern Avenue several vehicles with doors and trunks open.  Sometime overnight, unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's vehicles and rummaged through the vehicles.  It is unknown at this time if any property was taken from the vehicles.  The vehicles were:  Subaru Crosstrek, VW Passat, Subaru Forester, Toyota C-HR and Ford C-Max.

Investigation continues under case #220020771. Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to please call us at 301-270-1100.

  • Type your message, including as much detail as possible, to ensure that your tip is thoroughly investigated.

If you need to report an emergency that involves the need for fire or rescue services, call 9-1-1.
