Happy Sunny days!!
Wow, have you been enjoying the summer weather lately? I'm crossing my fingers this lasts until November, how about you? Well, it's either that or move down south for the winter. Don't tempt me...because I'll do it!!!
But, for now, why don't we focus on how fresh everything looks. I mean, the local farmer's markets have reopened and fresh produce is readily available...yum yum!!! I love it when you can make up a salad and grill something on the BBQ, it's a way of enjoying the bounty that surrounds us. And for that, I'm forever grateful!
I guess the last few years has taught me a few things and one is to appreciate all the small things in life and how very precious life really is. So, in keeping this in mind and following the celebration listed below - I think we are being advised to 'rebuild your life' to what suits our present needs...I think this sounds like a great plan, don't you?

Government Announces Key Changes to REBBA (Real Estate & Business Broker Act)
EFFECTIVE APRIL, 1 2023
RECO (Real Estate Council of Ontario) is pleased to announce that the provincial government is making important changes to the law that governs real estate registrants in Ontario. The changes will strengthen consumer protection and raise consumer confidence in the real estate sector.
Some of the key themes include:
- Renaming the current law (REBBA) to the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2002 (TRESA, 2002)
- Updating the code of ethics
- Providing greater clarity about consumers’ options
- Removing the barrier to open offers
- Introducing a mandatory consumer guide
- Expanding RECO’s disciplinary and investigation powers
More information on the changes, which will take effect on April 1, 2023, will be shared once the Government announces key changes to REBBA effective next year.

Let's Get Ready to Entertain!

INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups shredded chicken
- 3/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 (18-oz.) bag tortilla chips
- 3 cups shredded cheddar
- 1 cups crumbled Cotija
- 1 cup pickled jalapeños
- 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 avocado, thinly sliced
- Freshly chopped cilantro, for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 400° and line a large baking sheet with foil. In a large bowl, toss chicken with barbecue sauce.
- Layer half the chips, cheddar, Cotija, chicken, pickled jalapeños, and onion. Repeat.
- Bake until cheese is melted and nachos warmed through, 15 minutes.
- Top with avocado and cilantro before serving.
