Our newly-formed Community Center Committee will be meeting for the first time tomorrow via Zoom at 5:30 PM. The committee was formed by invitation of the Board of Directors to residents selected for their recent design experience with other public buildings, and with the addition of one designated member from each of the four existing resident committees (Common Area and Landscaping, Social, Residential Improvement and Finance).

A concept site plan and preliminary drawings were created by an architect for the purpose of beginning the multi-step approval process with the City of Aurora. A pre-application meeting with the city was held on Thursday, April 28th. The District received comments from various city departments regarding the initial proposal for a future multi-purpose building.
The project is still in the early design phase with many changes to come. The planned site of the building is 23053 E. Rockinghorse Parkway, the current site of the Toll Brothers construction office, near Picnic Park. The site location has not yet been finalized at this early stage.
As with all committee meetings, you are welcome to join via Zoom or by telephone dial-in. An opportunity will be provided for public comment during the designated portion of the meeting agenda.
