The Queen's Platinum Jubilee will be celebrated across the nation during the extended bank holiday weekend.
Beacon Lighting
The parish council will be taking part in the beacon lighting event that is taking place across the country, in the British Overseas Territories and capital cities across the Commonwealth.
The beacon lighting will take place at 9:45pm on Thursday 2 June on Cabbage Hill. You are welcome to join us ahead of the event for an evening picnic. We will be lighting the beacon in the country park beside the new Berkeley development at Woodhurst. (what3words location:frock.rope.flops)
Please walk to the event if you can, alternatively, their is limited parking available in the Cabbage Hill car park off Forest Road.
Community parties and events
There are a number of street parties, big lunches and afternoon tea events taking place across the parish this weekend. Thank you to everyone involved in organising these events we hope everything goes well for you!
If you are driving or riding around Warfield and the surrounding areas this weekend, please be aware that street closures may be in place.
The parish council offered community grants to jubilee events taking place this weekend, so we send our best wishes to residents in and around Abbey Place, All Saints Rise, Cheshire Place, Osborne Lane, Plantagenet Park, Top Common, Warfield Park and Warfield Street.

Chairman of the Parish Council
Councillor Dr Gareth Barnard (Whitegrove) has been elected as chairman of the parish council for the forthcoming year.

Warfield Village Fete
The Warfield Village Fete will be taking place on Saturday 11 June at the Warfield Memorial Ground between 12noon and 4pm.

The Parish Office is open Monday to Friday between 9:30am and 12noon. We sell garden waste sacks on behalf of Bracknell Forest Council at £1.10 each.
