Announcing the Launch of the FHEO Table Talks Series Website on the HUD Exchange

HUD’s Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity (FHEO) is pleased to announce the launch of FHEO’s Table Talks Series website on the HUD Exchange. The Table Talks Series engages HUD representatives and trusted voices to discuss relevant and timely fair housing and racial equity topics.

In accordance with President Biden’s Executive Order on Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities through the Federal Government, the fair housing and racial equity topics include discussions with experts, practitioners, leaders, and activists engaged in work relevant to fair and equal housing opportunities.

The primary goal of the Table Talks Series is to:

  • Educate HUD grantees about various barriers to fair housing
  • Discuss methods for developing stronger partnerships with community stakeholders
  • Address the implementation of fair housing policies and programs

In addition to the new website, FHEO is pleased to announce its latest Table Talks episode, Shaping Housing Policies & Practices to Support AANHPI Communities.

In this episode, host Chang Chiu, Senior Policy Advisor in HUD’s Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity, sits down with Seema Agnani, Executive Director for the National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development (CAPACD), and Gregg Orton, National Director of the National Council of Asian Pacific Americans (NCAPA), to discuss shaping housing policies and practices to support Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities.
