From Friday, July 29, to Monday, August 1, our nationwide church will be meeting in Edmonton, Alberta, for We Declare – Gathering 2022. MC Sask is seeking a diverse array of delegates to represent MC Sask at this gathering. Our regional church is entitled to 14 delegates, including both MC Sask Council members and general delegates. If you would like more information on being a delegate or to nominate yourself or someone else to be part of this group, please contact Interim Executive Minister Josh Wallace at churchengagement@mcsask.ca** **
 
MC Sask is also seeking two young people, age 17-21, to participate in a guided Young Leaders Experience of the Gathering. If you’d like more information, please get in touch with Josh. ** **

Voices Together Worship Leaders' Workshop | May 14, 9 a.m.-noon (ET) (on Zoom)
Anneli Loepp Thiessen and Katie Graber will provide background on worship resources in Voices Together, and the Voices Together Worship Leaders' ed., highlighting uses in worship as well as the styles, cultures, and eras they represent. They will discuss tools for understanding your community’s worship culture in order to make intentional, theologically grounded, and spiritually inspired choices about worship practices that respond to your local contexts and dismantle oppression in your communities. June 4 The Climate is Changing: Now What?? 
A one-day Mega Menno retreat for youth gr. 6-12 at Shekinah (9:30am – 4:30pm). Speakers Brenda and Wayne MacDonald will help youth explore what it looks like to be a people of faith in a time of changing climate(s). We are looking for volunteers to help us with our annual MCC Relief Sale on Saturday, June 11, 2022
. Areas of volunteering include set up on June 10, take down, preparing food, packaging food, handing out food and beverages, etc., and will be assigned in two to three hour time blocks. Shekinah is looking for summer camp counsellors! If you love kids and the outdoors, we would love to talk to you. We are offering 8 weeks of paid work in July and August. Mennonite Church Canada
Mennonite Church Canada transitions Indigenous-Settler Relations program Mennonite Church Canada is transitioning its Indigenous-Settler Relations (ISR) program to the five regional churches. The nationwide ISR staff position has been reduced to 0.5 FTE. Steve Heinrichs, who was ISR director for over ten years, is no longer in this role. Moving forward, the ISR position at Mennonite Church Canada will focus on information sharing and collaboration between regional church ISR working groups.

AIMM helps with community-development training 
Africa Inter-Mennonite Mission co-director John Fumana led training on assets-based community development in Kandal recently. This focuses on the community's own assets and resources as the basis of development, empowering people to use what resources they already have. AIMM is excited its partners will envision and implement economic projects that will strengthen communities and help them to share their Anabaptist church community with others.   ** **
