View this email in your browser

DOMINICAN FAMILIES,

A special thanks to the Dominican Parents Association for providing a wonderful breakfast for our faculty and staff this morning in celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week! We are grateful for your love and support!

Our students are in their final days of the 2021-2022 academic school year, with only 12 official days of school left prior to Semester II exams. Please encourage your child(ren) to remain diligent and focused with homework and test preparation up until the very last exam has concluded.

If you drive past the school’s north side along Lakeview Avenue, you will notice that construction has already begun! Our goal is to have all projects completed prior to welcoming our students back on August 29th.

It is such an exciting time for our Dominican and we have so much to be thankful for. Most importantly, we are thankful for you, our parents and students, for choosing Dominican High School!

God’s blessings,
Dominican High School

ASBESTOS REMOVAL

Dominican High School would like to inform you that asbestos removal will be occurring during the school day starting on Thursday, May 5, 2022, in preparation for our upcoming renovation projects. The abatement is being conducted by Integrity Environmental Services, Inc., which is an industry leader in safely handling asbestos removal. The two areas in which abatement is being conducted include the lower-level weight room (flooring and windows), and the gymnasium (flooring and ceiling). Per abatement requirements, both areas will be completely blocked, sealed and secured tightly, making it impossible for students to enter into either area unless intentionally moving barricades and tampering with the seals. Additionally, the vents and air handlers in both areas have been turned off to prevent any airflow to the rest of the school building.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Leanne Giese, President: lgiese@dominicanhighschool.com or 414.332.1170 x100.
