Team 1 are excited to be having the living eggs program coming next week.
Our year 0/1 children will be watching the eggs hatch and grow into chicks!
Property Update

We are currently busy organising some large property projects - some of which you may have already seen starting to take place around the school.

- You will have noticed the canopy foundations being installed on the middle court, which we are expecting to be completed some time in June - hopefully in time for the winter weather to kick in!

- We are also finalising contractors to replace most of our school roofs over the next 9 months (including the hall - more on this at a later date).

- Guttering and archgola repairs on Rooms 1-5 and 7-10 are also booked for next month.
Each Friday you can order delicious and healthy pitas, salads and more through our Kindo School Shop by clicking here.
You can order (or cancel) any time before 9am or schedule in advance. Your lunch will be delivered to the school in time for lunch.
Click here to view the menu.
Swimming Reminder

Teams 1 and 2 - Wednesdays
Teams 3 and 4 - Fridays

PLEASE make sure you label all of the uniform items your children wear to school on swimming days as it makes finding the owners of extra pants, shirts, jumpers and other things so much easier for us!
Lost Property
We have quite a few items of lost property from swimming last week.
If your child is missing anything, please check in the office.
Changes to schools’ planning and reporting, as legislated in the Education and Training Act 2020, come into effect on 1 January 2023.
Instead of a charter, schools and kura must publish a three-year Strategic Plan, an Annual Implementation Plan, and an Annual Report.
If you would like to share your thoughts on this with the Ministry of Education, you can click here to complete a whānau and community survey.
This term's C.O.R.E value is:

OPTIMISM/Ngākau Rorotu

'We have positive attitudes and a growth mindset.'
Scholastic Book catalogues went home with the children this week.
If you would like to order anything, you can do so online here.
Instead of our fortnightly chronicle, we will be sharing a weekly 'snippet' of what our Freyberg Whetū'(Freyberg Stars) have been up to. This is what we have been doing this week!

Our 'cool' ice skating disco has been rebooked for June the 28th and there are still some spaces available! Please click here for tickets 🥶 🥶
Please support our generous sponsors whenever you are able to - these local businesses are helping us to provide the very best to all of our tamariki!
