The 2 x 2-hour workshops will focus on business and personal resilience. The interactive delivery consists of a balanced mix of research-based information, practical advice and exercises.

PART 1 - Taking Care of Business & Self
Tuesday 31 May - 10-12 pm
Phillip Island Apartments - meeting room
In this 2-hour workshop, you will learn about the concept of resilience and self-care practices.
What is resilience, why is it important and how do we cultivate it? The session will cover physical health & wellbeing, stress management, the right attitude, the right support and staying motivated. At the end of the workshop, participants will have an understanding of what resilience is and have a range of tools to include in their own well-being kit.

PART 2 - Business Planning & Risk Management
Tuesday 26 July - 10-12 pm
Meeting room - Phillip Island Apartments
This 2-hour workshop focuses on business planning & risk management.
Business resilience emphasises the importance of preparedness through planning and monitoring. Participants will be encouraged to work on their own business plan throughout the session, whilst learning techniques to set appropriate goals, identify key risks and develop strategies to minimise these risks. The final module 'Trading through tough times' combines the ability to deftly solve problems with tips on seeking assistance.
Wednesday 27 July - individual mentoring session (1 hour) - venue to be confirmed
Mentoring sessions
During the initial 1-hour session (face-to-face or virtual), participants will have the opportunity to discuss their individual needs around business planning and their own wellbeing. All stages of business development are welcome, from well-established businesses looking at diversifying or expanding their offering to startups.
A 30-minute virtual follow-up session will be offered to check on progress and discuss any outstanding items.
