President's Message

Dear colleague

Another very busy month at the BBA!

Firstly, I was honoured to be invited by Portugal to present the UK's National Blockchain Roadmap at AAPI Summit, held on 11 May. 

Next week, we are looking forward to celebrate the much anticipated Queen's Platinum Jubilee, and what a pleasant coincidence to receive a letter last week from Her Majesty The Queen, acknowledging the JBBA, and her warm wishes for the BBA! We are offering a special "Queen's Platinum Jubilee Discount" (50% discount) on BBA memberships next week, so be sure to sign up!

The deadline for submission of papers for the *10th* issue of The JBBA is 30 June. Do not miss the deadline!

We are appointing to various roles within the Sub-Specialty Groups of the UK's Blockchain Roadmap, including a forward looking Crypto-asset SSG. Do not hesitate to reach out to us, should you wish to apply.

The BBA is thankful to Portugal for inviting the BBA president Prof. Dr Naseem Naqvi to deliver a keynote to European business leaders at the aapi summit on 11 May 2022.

Professor Naqvi presented the latest updates on the UK’s National Blockchain Roadmap (NBR) and shared the most significant digital assets and DLT developments from the UK, and beyond.

🌐 After Chinese, Italian, German, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese and Turkish, JBBA plain-language research infographics are now available in French, an official language in 29 countries, with about 76 million native speakers and about 235 million daily, fluent speakers around the globe.

✅ Cambridge University Library
✅ Trinity College, Dublin
✅ National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth

As well as UCL, Imperial, LSE, OU, University of Manchester, and the University of Westminster, to name a few.

The latest issue has also become a part of the British ‘National Heritage‘ by being legally deposited in all 5 national libraries of the UK.

BBA president delivered the Opening Keynote at Informa Connect AQMEN's Global Cryptocurrency Summit.
