Dear BCA Church Partner,

God is at work at BCA impacting the lives of students spiritually and academically.  I appreciate you allowing me to share with you the blessings God has bestowed upon BCA and the amazing work God has done and continues to do.  Would you also share with your church community that BCA is now enrolling and our upcoming events?  I have attached some imaging.

There is an increasing need in our world to have well-equipped, Christ-centered students and graduates with a seat at the table and ready to lead in every arena of society.  Students and graduates that are ready for their seat in government, in the science lab, teaching in a classroom, at the Stock Exchange, in the medical field, etc.  These young lives will be leading our future and taking care of us one day!

We have focused on student experience/programs, hiring and retaining high-quality teachers, and the beautification of the BCA campus.  There are several areas of the school to report that help shows our growth.

Our Results

This year we had our highest enrollment increase since 2012 along with stabilizing our financial structure.  We have raised $185,000 of our $200,000 fundraising goal.

Team Results

With strategic objectives in mind, we have added additional all-stars to an already star-studded faculty lineup.

  • Ms. Marston is our new Advancement Associate, leading the charge with our visual marketing and social media presence.

  • Mr. Weber is reaching out and communicating with our surrounding communities as Director of Community Relations.  We want to be known in the community, and Mr. Weber is making sure BCA’s name is out there!

  • Mrs. Hines, our new Educational Support Specialist, is using her expertise as a Reading Specialist to support students and coach teachers.  Our push-in model of services has allowed Mrs. Hines to reach more students and partner more closely with teachers.

  • Mr. Montag is guiding students through their spiritual journeys and ownership of their faith.  BCA’s chapel programs include student leaders and the Gospel works into every aspect of the daily life of a student at BCA.

Student Experience/Program Results

Our goal through this decision-making process has been to increase student learning and course rigor, thereby improving student competitiveness post-graduation, whether they are moving on to college, trade schools, or the workforce.

  • Elementary:

    • Hallway sensory path, flexible classroom groupings, after school sports opportunities, and continued focus on performing and visual arts

  • Middle School:

    • Student Council, academic support and social-emotional blocks, STEM, youth group

  • High School:

    • New sociology and anatomy classes, online and dual enrollment, homeschool partnership, increased visual and performing art time, and student-led chapel band

Beautification Results

If you haven’t recently walked the BCA hallways, you might be confused as to where you are the next time you visit.  Providing an updated and aesthetically pleasing environment is important to the success and well-being of students!

  • New desks, chairs, and furniture in the elementary school

  • Hallways and every elementary classroom have been repainted

  • New lunch tables

  • Whiteboards and TVs in every classroom

  • Repaired heating system

God is our anchor, our firm foundation, knowing He will continue to bless and provide for us as we charge ahead, just as He has for the past 42 years. The challenges we will face can be viewed as opportunities. We will continue working to supply an education that is Christ-centered, taught by the best teachers, and that prepares students for the thickets of the Jordan (the world outside of the walls of the classroom). It’s an education that allows us to educate the whole child. To have an impact and success in the next decade, we will continue to have clear strategic and programmatic priorities.

Thank you again for your prayers, encouragement, and support that enable us to serve more families and to nurture, equip, and encourage students in the development of their God-given potential.

Blessings,
