What a profound time of milestones we've been through together at Emmanuel -- an ordination, a first Mass, and a Requiem all in 8 days. And another milestone on the way: our Bishop-elect has arrived and begun getting settled in his new home, and our diocesan family is preparing for the Consecration on May 21. This event will connect us as far as the apostles, and as near as the seat left vacant here every week to remind us of our Bishop. As an Episcopal church, Emmanuel is above all a living outpost of our diocese and a steward of the way of life passed down from the apostles of Jesus. With this heritage of faith, we pass through the milestones and rejoice.

INQUIRERS CLASS
Over the summer, we're putting together a class that invites your questions about Jesus, the Bible, and things that matter, and is especially appropriate for those who are new(ish) to the Episcopal or Christian worldview and practices, or those who haven't examined their faith in a long time. At the end of the class you may choose whether you would like to be Confirmed or Received when our new Bishop visits (TBA). Speak to Mother Beth to learn more.
