A quick note on this sunny day to say that you can now find a variety of cold hardy starts at the North Plain Farm Store AND at the Berkshire Coop. Warm weather-loving plants to come, as the night temps get safer.
Two things to say about Mother's Day:
Farm Girl Seedlings gift cards can be redeemed during the growing season for any of our vegetable, flower, or herb starts. It's a fun gift because you get to give it on Mother's Day and THEN it gives back nutritious veggies and beautiful flowers all season long.
AND, my friend and the incredibly talented flower farmer, Anna Mack of Wild & Cultivated Farm in Sheffield, is doing a TULIP POP-UP SALE this Saturday, May 8, in front of Marjoram & Roux at the top of Railroad Street in GB. She'll be there from 10 to 4. I've seen the tulips! They are gorgeous.
Seedling pre-orders:
Thank you to those of you who've placed orders already! For folks with larger orders containing both cold hardy (ready to plant soon) and frost tender (wait til after last frost date) plants, I'll be in touch SOON to see if you want to make two trips and get the early stuff sooner. We've had a couple of really bad rodent attacks in the greenhouse and a few too many things got chewed to smithereens. So some varieties are set back a bit. But we're racing along to get your orders put together.
Anyone wanting to order now can do so on the Seedling Sale page on the Farm Girl Farm website. I'm really excited about some new varieties, and you'll see our favorite mixed 4-packs, offering you more ways to get a full spectrum of variety in your garden, no matter how small. Order now and pick up later.
Thanks, as always, for your support, and be in touch with questions.
