Raising voices and pursuing equality

Happy Thursday and last week of the semester! It's a big week here at The NewsHouse! We launched our year-long project Entitled to Equality which dives into Title IX's 50-year history of advancing gender equality. And Kate Brennan's Aloha ʻāina project digs into the controversy surrounding building a telescope on Mauna Kea in Hawai'i. In other news, we cover FADS' "Abiotic Wanderers spring show, SU softball's big win over Niagara and the impact of COVID on students' mental health. We spent months seeking to answer this question: How has Title IX advanced gender equality over the past 50 years and where has it failed to do so?
