Tamba Lamin
, Senior Technology Architect and Digital Experience Platforms Practice Lead, Accenture

Tamba Sheku Lamin has served as a Management Consultant, Technology Architect, Systems Engineer, Manager, and Developer for United States Federal Government Agencies, New York State Office of Information Technology, New York City Department of Education, IBM, Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson, Novartis, Autodesk, Google, Facebook, and many others. Tamba is an experienced and versatile ICT expert with more than 21 years of experience. He has In-depth expertise using agile principles and experience working with diverse and inclusive global teams across Asia, Africa, North America, South America, and Europe. Currently, Tamba is a Senior Technology Architect and Digital Experience Platforms Practice Lead at Accenture. He co-founded TpISENT (S.L.) Limited, TpESTATE (S.L.) Limited, Fambul Tik, SaloneTech, LAM-TECH Consulting, and others. He obtained his Master's degree in Technology Management, Information Management & Telecommunications (Double Major) from NYU Tandon School of Engineering in New York Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications and Network Security (Double Major) from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). Tamba has more than ten professionals I.T. certifications and is a member of more than seven professional organizations. He is a visionary and a techie at the same time and leads worthy initiatives as you have seen or heard.

 

Cleve Mesidor, Executive Director, the Blockchain Foundation

Cleve Mesidor is the Executive Director of the Blockchain Foundation, an industry-wide crypto education platform. She is also a Public Policy Advisor to the Blockchain Association. A web3 expert working in crypto for about six year, she has been profiled on CNBC, ABC, NPR, Washington Post, Politico, TIME. Cleve is a Mayoral appointee to the DC Innovation and Technology Inclusion Council and sits on the Board of Directors of the Value Technology Foundation and Crypto Connect.  A Washington insider, she previously served in the Obama Administration and as a senior staffer in Congress. As a Presidential Appointee, she was Director of Public Affairs for the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration, where she advanced White House economic programs and national public-private partnerships to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. Her acumen in policy stems from her tenure on Capitol Hill as Communications Director for U.S. Representatives Betty McCollum and Barbara Lee, coordinating with Congressional leadership to launch major legislative initiatives.  Additionally, Cleve is author of “THE CLEVOLUTION: My Quest for Justice in Politics & Crypto.” She is a reputable and respected industry leader, as well as, a regular SXSW speaker and headliner at national blockchain conferences. She earned a Master’s of Arts degree from Howard University and started her career in broadcasting at CNN's Washington Bureau.

 

Nnenna Nwakanma, Chief Web Advocate, Web Foundation

Nnenna advocates for policy and systemic changes that are needed for meaningful internet access, open data, open government and the open web across Africa, bringing together local and international stakeholders to advance the digital agenda. She works to drive affordable internet access, data rights, digital freedom and digital responsibilities of stakeholders, sectors and actors. Nnenna is a respected technology voice and leader in Africa. Her capacity to network and bridge the gap between the local and the global has made her a voice bearer for women, rural populations, the unconnected and the civil society across the world. Nnenna is a Diplo alumnus, an ICT4D Strategist, an expert in eParticipation and Citizen Engagement, one of the early pioneers of the Africa Data Revolution, a respected voice in the UN’s Internet Governance Forum, a pioneer and continued advisor on internet governance in Africa, and Faculty at the Schools of Internet Governance. She has over 15 years of experience working with the United Nations Systems in human rights, information society, gender, data digital equality and sustainable development. Her career has allowed her to work closely with many civil society organisations, the African Development Bank, the Digital Solidarity Fund and has seen her involved in many phases of the UN’s Africa Information Society Initiative. As well as leading a highly regarded consultancy platform, Nnenna has in recent years co-founded The Free Software and Open Source Foundation for Africa, and served as a board member of the Open Source Initiative. She has lived and worked in five African countries and is fluent in English, French and a number of African languages.

 

Tomicah Tillemann, Global Chief Policy Officer, Huan Ventures

Dr. Tomicah Tillemann is the Chief Policy Officer of Haun Ventures and comes to that role from Andreessen Horowitz, where he was a partner and Global Head of Policy. Previously, Dr. Tillemann served as Senior Advisor to two secretaries of state, leading a team of experts that built 20 major initiatives in 55 countries. He joined the State Department in 2009 as Hillary Clinton's speechwriter and spent four years on the staff of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee working with and advising Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and John Kerry. Dr. Tillemann directed programs on responsible investing, digital impact, and blockchain at New America, where he authored extensive research on how to harness frontier technologies to strengthen democratic institutions. He also led successful efforts to use decentralized platforms to combat public corruption, increase government efficiency, and promote private sector accountability with funding from the Rockefeller Foundation, Gates Foundation, and international development agencies. He helped deploy the world's first decentralized land registry and managed development of open source technology platforms for city, state, and federal agencies in the U.S. and worldwide. Dr. Tillemann has served as a member of the World Economic Forum’s Council for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the United Nations World Food Program Innovation Advisory Council, the Lantos Foundation Board of Trustees, and Diginex Board of Directors, and as Chairman of both the Responsible Asset Allocator Initiative and Global Blockchain Business Council. He is a co-holder of four patents, received his B.A. magna cum laude from Yale University, and earned a Ph.D. with distinction from Johns Hopkins SAIS.
