Promotion Time!

It's almost that time of year again when we celebrate the promotion of our 8th graders to high school! A ceremony will be held for 8th graders and their families on Thursday, May 19. Below is a chart with details on times and locations for our schools.

Report Cards

Yes, promotion ceremonies are here, but so are report cards! The final set of report card grades will be published on May 20.

To access the report cards, please sign up for ParentVue if you haven't already.

If you do not have a ParentVUE account, please visit your school front office with a picture ID to get your account set up. You may also request a hard copy of your student report card by contacting your school front office.

Teachers of the Year

The Liberty Elementary School District is home to so many passionate and wonderful educators. That presents a wonderful challenge when it comes time for each of LESD's seven schools to select a 'Teacher of the Year.'

Summer Institute

Liberty Elementary School District hosts a Summer Institute for K-3 children who need additional support in the areas of reading and/or language acquisition.

The Summer Institute will take place from 8:00 a.m. to noon on Monday through Thursday, from June 6 - June 30. Transportation is available to all participants and meals will be provided for breakfast and lunch.

The Summer Institute will continue to build upon skills acquired during the academic school year by utilizing small group instruction, high interest topic study, systematic phonics instruction and language acquisition strategies. The goal is to positively impact students' writing, reading and vocabulary development.

Families with students who qualify received letters from the school district with instructions on how to enroll if interested. If you have questions, please contact Erin Brandon, Summer Institute Coordinator, at ebrandon@liberty25.org.

L.E.A.P. Summer Camp

School is about to be out for the summer! However, the fun doesn't have to be over! L.E.A.P. holds a summer camp, filled with festivities, field trips and more!

Costs vary by the week and spots fill up fast! You can register by clicking HERE.

An Ag-citing Future

As the flagship school of LESD, Liberty Elementary School continues to build on its roots, while growing for the future. Liberty's recent 'Agrival' celebrated the school's signature program of Agriscience and its importance in our everyday lives.

Become a Teacher!

Having a four-year degree in education isn't the only pathway to become a teacher. Rio Salado’s Teacher-In-Residence (TIR) intern program provides a convenient, cost-effective way for students and working professionals with a bachelor’s degree to transition into a K-12 teaching career.

Through paid employment opportunities in the classroom, post-secondary students can earn an income while completing the certification coursework. The program can be completed in two years and is available to Arizona residents only.

A virtual orientation is coming up if you want to learn more:
