Thank You Mothers!
Thanks for all that you do to nurture your children in the faith! Thank you for all of the prayers you have said with your children, for your willingness to try to answer their toughest faith questions, for getting them up and dressed and to worship on Sunday morning, and for encouraging them to participate in their first church retreat, conference, or mission trip. Your hard work has not gone unnoticed. These are baptismal promises being fulfilled! The role you play in your children's relationship with God cannot be overstated: “A lot of research in the sociology of religion suggests that the most important social influence in shaping young people’s religious lives is the religious life modeled and taught to them by their parents.” (Soul Searching, 56). Thanks for all that you do!
Please note: there will be no youth group on Sunday, May 8
