Plan For Our 2022 Graduation Activities

American Baptist College will host two graduation events on May 18 and May 19, 2022.
Both events will be held at the historic Jefferson Street Missionary Baptist Church, located at 2708 Jefferson Street, Nashville, TN 37208.
Both graduation events will be live streamed. You can watch from the American Baptist College Facebook account, @abcedu1924, or the Jefferson Street Missionary Baptist Church Facebook account, @JStreetChurch.

R. C. Matthews, one of the contractors used by American Baptist College, held its annual Crawfish Boil recently and some officials from ABC attended the event and enjoyed the delicacies. It was a fun event at the company's headquarters in downtown Nashville. Clara Williams, American Baptist College bursar, said, "The food was good and the hospitality was great."
The R.C. Matthews Company's relationship with the College extends back to the renovations of Griggs Hall completed in 2015, and their recent work includes the expansion of the Susie McClure Library and repair work in the cottages.

Even before the pandemic, millions of Americans were experiencing stress, trauma, anxiety, and heightened levels of depression. The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated those conditions, creating an unprecedented mental health crisis across our country. Communities of color, frontline workers, [and] health care workers have been disproportionately impacted, and the rate of depression across the country has more than tripled compared to rates in 2019.
