Congratulations to the Class of 2022!
Congratulations to Ariel Liberman who completed his Master of Laws degree with a concentration in law and religion. Ariel is the 2022 recipient of the Tam Institute of Jewish Studies Grant for Summer Research and the Highest Honors Designation. We wish him all the best as he enters into the SJD Program at Emory Law and continues his position as Lecturer at Oglethorpe University.
Congratulations to Stephen Altobelli who completed his Bachelor of Arts in English. Stephen received High Honors for his English thesis and was inducted into Delta Phi Alpha for his studies in German. Stephen worked as an Assistant Editor for Canopy Forum. We wish him all the best as he applies to graduate school.
Congratulations to Jonese Austin who completed her Master of Divinity with certificates in Black Church Studies and Baptist Studies. We wish her all the best as she begins her doctoral journey as a PhD student in Duke University's Department of Cultural Anthropology where she hopes to pursue certificates in African & African American Studies and Gender, Sexuality & Feminist Studies.
Congratulations to Humoud Alfadhli who completed his Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) in International Criminal Law. Humoud received his LLB from Kuwait University and his LLM from CWRU Law. We wish him all the best as he returns to Kuwait University to teach as an Assistant Professor of International Law.
Congratulations to Emily Orshinsky SJ who completed her Juris Doctor. Emily is the 2022 recipient of the Emory Law Pro Bono Publico Medal. She worked as an Assistant Managing Editor for Articles for the Journal of Law and Religion. We wish her all the best as she joins Bronx Legal Services Housing Unit as a Staff Attorney.
Congratulations to Anna Stallings who completed her Juris Doctor. Anna received the Pro Bono Medal and is graduating with High Honors. She served as the Chief of Staff for the Journal of Law and Religion. We wish her all the best as she joins Hall Booth Smith, PC in their Health & Aging Services Department.
Congratulations to Annabelle Bichler who completed her Juris Doctor. She served as an Assistant Managing Editor for the Journal of Law and Religion. We wish her all the best as she travels through Europe.
Congratulations to Jung Yoon Yang who completed her Juris Doctor. She served as Assistant Managing Editor for the Journal of Law and Religion. We wish her all the best as she joins Jones Day as an associate.
Congratulations to Min Gyu Jun who completed his Juris Doctor. Min is has served as Assistant Managing Editor for the Journal of Law and Religion. We wish him all the best as he studies to take the New York Bar exam after graduation.
CSLR Award Recipients 
Congratulations to Ari Colston who completed her Juris Doctor and Master of Divinity. Ari is the 2022 recipient of the Eliza Ellison Prize for Leadership in Law and Religion. Ari interned for the Law and Ministry Project and served as an Editorial Assistant for the Journal of Law and Religion. We wish her all the best as she pursues a PhD in Religion at Princeton University with a concentration in Religion in America. Learn more about Colston and the award here.
Congratulations to Trevor Fortenberry who completed his Juris Doctor. Trevor is the 2022 recipient of the Gertie and John Witte Award for outstanding work in law and Christianity. He served as an Assistant Managing Editor of the Journal of Law and Religion.
