May Bubbles

Mission Statement:
Florida Swim School teaches the life-saving skill of swimming in a safe environment, using a nurturing method that builds confidence.

Summer is around the corner!
All levels will have morning and afternoon options for summer.

If taking a break for summer camp, keep an eye on swimming abilities.  Skills may regress without formal lessons.
Drop in classes are available to keep skills strong and children safer.

Thank you for your patience with teacher changes.
As with many other industries, employee changes occur regularly.
All coaches are trained with the same curriculum which allows for new coaches to be properly prepared for the students at Florida Swim School.  Coaches with previous experience also receive 30 hours of training.

Some have apologized for their child crying during lessons - It's ok!
The lesson will not cause anxiety, which is why we insist on using a nurturing, gentle coaching methods.
Parents may be asked to sit with their child.
This will show the child that the coach is trustworthy as the relationship between coach and student grows.

Children are inconsistent with good days and better days.
We will always teach them according to the feelings they are conveying to us,
with their best interest in mind.

Tip of the Month: Practice in Other Pools
Ask your children to show you what they are learning.
Adults - Practice by the wall to hold onto when needed.
Always practice safety!
