PenFinancial Mother Earth Day
Get outside and enjoy summer Saturday, June 11th at Firemen's Park, between noon and 4 p.m., for PenFinancial Mother Earth Day, an event created to encourage residents to learn, interact, and celebrate the environment.
Whether you attend to try some great food, participate in fun activities, or just to enjoy people watching, we hope you'll leave a little more inspired about caring for our planet, and a little more connected to community members making a difference.
Ride your bike and take advantage of the complimentary Bicycle Storage Valet, supported by Amici Per La Vita Niagara Cycling Club.

Youth & Family Activities
Explore & Enjoy the Outdoors
Join us for some family fun!
Youth activities provided by Heartland Forest, the Mayor's Youth Advisory Committee, and the Niagara Falls Public Library will take place between noon to 4 p.m.
All listed activities are tentative for the 2022 event:
- Niagara Falls Public Library StoryWalk - Outdoor guided walk with books
- Craft Table - Self-guided headband to colour and staple to wear
- Live Bugs - Wildlife artifacts table
- Secret Map - Game involving following a map
- Obstacle Course - Butterfly life cycle theme
- Board Game - Be a Deer giant board game
- Scavenger Hunt - Search by image, colour and words
- Ridable Kids Train - Provided by Heartland Forest
- Large Prize Wheel - Win wild flower seeds and other swag from MYAC
- Living Wall - Glue on moss pieces to create a large living wall provided by MYAC

Community Clean Sweep
Volunteer with Us
Meet us at Firemen's Park bright and early to volunteer and help keep our city clean and beautiful.
From 9 a.m. to noon on June 11th, volunteers will spread throughout the City to collect debris from parks, trails and boulevards. This is a great opportunity to collect community service hours!
Added bonus: When you lend a hand, lunch is on us!
