Dear fellow Chapter 58 members and friends,
It appears that after a great many requests and inquiries, we have secured several opportunities to promote EAA Chapters and programs at the Utah Aeronautical Conference.
Looks like we will have a table at the Career Fair on Monday to encourage participation in the Flying Start Program and Young Eagles
Then, with help from the Utah Airport Operators Association, and a proposal to help promote the “Fly Utah” program, we should have a 10’ by 10’ booth to share at the conference. The main aim in addition to the “Fly Utah” program would be to sign up Chapter members, and encourage participation in things like Young Eagles, Flying Start, homebuilding and youth build programs, and Chapter camping at Oshkosh.
Finally there is a fairly open invitation to display aircraft in a static display at the Provo Airport. I am thinking that it would be nice to have some projects in process, as well as completed masterpieces.
Since this is the first Conference of this type, it is a bit hard to tell what to expect, but I wondered if you had some items that would be great to show at the three venues. Some of the great material put together for the anniversary celebration a couple of years ago might be interesting, as well as anything more current.
