    Praise the Lord for allowing our family to arrive back in Nepal! We are so thankful for the time God gave us on furlough. It was a great blessing to be back with many of our supporting churches who make it possible for our family to serve here. God used that time to encourage us and prepare us for this second term. I would like to ask you to pray as we evaluate the ministry and make plans for future work. There is much work to be done. Pray that God would open doors of opportunity for the sake of the gospel throughout Kathmandu and the villages of Nepal.

    Our hope is that we will continue to grow in our ability to serve the Lord on the mission field. Before leaving the States, Amber and I had the privilege of attending orientation with our mission board. It was a great week of learning and encouragement with our co-laborers to help us toward our goal of growth. I had the chance to teach one of the classes on the topic of daily disciplines. The Bible teaches that we must continue to grow in our walk with God. This is especially vital as we reach the mission field and engage in ministry here. Pray that God would continue to teach us and help our family as we serve him.

    It is so encouraging when we see evidence of your prayer and love for our family. During this first week back in Nepal, we stopped into the post office to check on our PO Box and found dozens of cards that were sent even while we were on furlough. It was a great surprise and blessing as we start this next term in Nepal. Thank You!
