Uniform Swap
Wednesday, May 25, is the last day that activities will be taking place on campus. Bring all your outgrown uniforms to the gym to participate in the Uniform Swap. This event will operate differently from the former uniform exchange process, as PAC will not be facilitating each transaction. Rather, transactions will occur directly between parents through either your Venmo or Zelle account. Here are the steps to participating:
1. Wash all items
2. Place each item in a gallon plastic bag labeled as the photo below:
3. Bring items to the gym at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25. Tables around the gym will represent different categories of items: polos, skirts, jumpers, upper school items, etc. Note: If your students will no longer be on campus on May 25 (kindergarten, 8th grade, 12th grade), please feel free to bring a bag marked in accordance with the photo below to the office ahead of time, and we will take it over for you.
4. SHOP: Be care to keep items with the bag they are in. Pay the owner through their preferred method before leaving.
5. At 11 a.m., come retrieve any unsold items!

Traffic Safety at 24th Street and Cactus
Dear PVCP Families,
As many of you are aware, the intersection at 24th Street and Cactus has posed a serious safety hazard in our community for years. Several local businesses have reached out to the City of Phoenix over the years to request modifications, including a left-turn arrow, in an effort to make the intersection more safe. In light of Friday's accident, I am encouraging all members of the PVCP community to contact the City directly to express your concern and desire that measures be implemented to make the intersection more safe. Please join me in contacting Mr. Hernandez, a Signal Systems Specialist with the City, who is our main point of contact. Additionally, PVCP resides is District 3, represented by Councilwoman Debra Stark. She may be contacted at council.district.3@phoenix.gov.

Arizona Attorney General Candidate
While PVCP is prohibited from publicly endorsing candidates as an institution, we always want to keep our community aware of candidates with ties to our school community who share our key values, such as the right of parents to choose what form of education is best for their children. A former PVCP parent is running for Arizona's Attorney General, and a current board member is hosting a gathering on her behalf. See the invitation below if you are interested in learning more.

Save On Your Tuition!
T.R.I.P. is back! Family referrals are one of the primary ways new families learn about PVCP, and we want to reward you for your efforts in spreading the word about our incredible community! Through T.R.I.P., your family will receive a $1,000 tuition credit for each student you recruit. There is no limitation to the number of students you can recruit, so in theory, you can cover all your tuition through the recruitment of new students!
Half of the credit will be applied to student accounts in December and the other half in May. Recruited students must remain for the duration of the school year to receive full credit. Credits will be prorated for students who leave before the completion of an academic year. Credit is good for one year only and does not carry over to subsequent years the recruited family is enrolled.
Mrs. Cornelius is available and ready to conduct tours for your contacts, so have them sign up today!

International Host Families Needed
Please consider opening your homes and hearts to an international student attending PVCP for the 22-23 school year! When you host a student, you give an incredible gift. You give an international student the chance to fulfill his or her dreams of experiencing the American way of life. You give your family the opportunity to learn and appreciate different cultures. You give your community an eager new member with fresh eyes and fresh perspectives. Most of all, you give one another the warmth of friendship and family bonds that last a lifetime. We are in need of several families to host students from various European and Asian countries. Currently, we are looking for homes for two girls:
- Marta from Spain will be in 10th grade. She enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and is excited to be involved with sports.
- Gadea is from Spain and will be in 10th grade. She comes from a large, close-knit family and is hoping to be in a home where she can expand her family even further. She loves animals, listening to music, and volleyball.
If you feel called to make a difference in the lives of one of our students, please contact Cristi Youngkin at 602-615-0776 or cristi.educatius@gmail.com, or you can contact Mrs. Cornelius for more information.
