What have we been up to?
We are approximately halfway through construction at the MAIN STORE in the West Salem Shoping Center.  Plumbing is in, walls are framed, and many years of planning and preparation are taking shape!

Our new General Manager, Marc Litt, has hit the ground running this week. Look out for more updates and a formal introduction in our next newsletter!

Jon Steinman, author of "Grocery Story," has been hosting a series of free webinars for start up co-ops. His book was a great resource during the conceptual development of The Harvest Market's co-op model, and we would encourage anyone interested in learning more to join us and register for the remaining sessions here - https://grocerystory.coop/webinar-series-startups. Previous webinar recordings can be viewed with the password "foodcoopfuture2022," but please note that this password should NOT be posted online.

We are so grateful to 10Fold Logistics and all of the volunteers who worked together to make this event possible, and we look forward to the next opportunity to celebrate with you all.

We are excited to partner with Leo Rucker, an accomplished local artist, who is creating four murals for the new Harvest Market store. His work will breathe life into our vibrant community space, while telling the story of farming and agriculture in North Carolina. We can't wait for you to see his paintings in person! In the mean time, see his concepts below...
 
Introducing New Staff!
We are excited to welcome Anna Donze to the SHARE team as our Program Coordinator! A graduate of Wake Forest University, Anna has had the privilege of serving with multiple non-profits in the Winston Salem area, most recently working in homeless outreach. She is excited about the opportunity to address issues of Food Justice in a cooperative environment and looks forward to supporting the mission of SHARE and The Harvest Market.
