Happy World Bicycle Day 2022!!

This Summer, we're running a lot of fun programming and advocacy work in anticipation of the upcoming Capital and Operating Budget discussion

Sign up for the Pedal Poll, June 7 and 11, and participate in an important public-sourced count of cycling in our City! Volunteer shifts are based on your availability. Simply a few hours of your time over the week can help make cycling count!

Bylaw Incoming - Time to fight for 102 Avenue

Looks like City Council will be voting on a Bylaw to close 102 Avenue between 99 St and 103 St imminently!

We need you to email your Councillor to encourage them to support this project. This is the kind of thing where if you send an email, we may be able to sway councillors to vote in favour of this!

Use the subject line "Open Up 102 Ave to People!" to join a chorus of folks calling for more spaces for a vibrant downtown.

Sat. August 13 - Return of A Taste of Open Streets

We are very excited to be working with the City of Edmonton, Downtown Business Association, and Oliver Community League to bring back a scaled-down version of Open Streets.

We're planning on running open streets programming in Oliver on 103 Avenue as well as in Downtown on 104 St (as a part of Al Fresco).

This project is supported by funding from the Harbour. We'll have another fun announcement regarding this funding in the coming weeks.

Almost half a year has blown by, what's next?

Over the first half of 2022, we've spent a lot of time connecting with City Council to help them understand our priorities going into this upcoming budget cycle.

This will be a key budget to set into motion the vision we have as a community to build a sustainable and liveable 15-minute city.
