After a loooong flight we arrived back in South Africa. We have enjoyed a lovely time back with family and Andrew is getting lots of attention from his grandparents. We were able to rest and recover, introduce Andrew to family, and have recently started to prepare for church visits.
Unfortunately we had to cancel our first church appointment because all 3 of us got covid and had to self isolate at home while we recovered. Thankfully, we are all healthy again.
We are now looking forward to our first church missions weekend this coming weekend at Cambridge Baptist. I have also been given an opportunity to talk about missions on Christian radio this week. We hope that it has led to more prayer for Japan.
We will be in East London until mid June and then going to KZN to visit 3 churches. From there we will go to Pretoria where we have more churches to visit. Most of these church visits includes a presentation and I will also be doing quite a lot of preaching ministry.
If you would like to have us visit your church or Bible study group to talk about missions, please let me know and if we are in the area we can make a plan.
We are slowly adjusting to S.A. life and culture but have been surprised at how Japanese we have become :) We hope to enjoy this special time back with family and friends and looking forward to sharing more updates about how the Lord has used our partnership with you.
We are also trusting the Lord to continue providing finances and that we will have the needed financial support to return to Japan next year. Please be in prayer regarding this.
And now, to the photos!!!

We took a special trip to Cape Town to visit Andrew's 93 year old great grandmother.
