💖 Code Coven Create: The Solstice Program - This is an incubator-style initiative that supports multiple small teams of developers as they create a prototype focused on social impact. Over the course of 12 weeks, teams will take their prototype from concept to completion. Code Coven staff will be offering scope advice and roadmap guidance at each milestone check-in.
By the end of the program, teams can look forward to publishing a small and polished prototype to use as a portfolio piece, to approach funding initiatives for future opportunities, or as the beginning of a longer development timeline.
🤩 The Next Level Project - National Videogame Museum - Are you a woman of colour aged 18-25 in Sheffield who wants to learn how to make video games? The Next Level Project is offering workshops completely FREE for 2 hours a week, over the course of six weeks to teach you how to make games! No qualifications are required, and all technology will be provided in the Museum.
Now is the perfect time to try out art and animation, storytelling, games design, and basic coding! By the end of the course, you will have designed your very own game based on your own ideas!
