Help us beta test the new Cool Campus Challenge! The goal of this friendly online competition is for the university community, students, faculty and staff, to engage in diverse sustainable and socially just actions.

Carbon Fund 

         
The Carbon Fund has wrapped up another successful year after receiving and considering 24 applications from organizations across campus and throughout the community.

They ended up awarding $116,968 in funding to 13 projects. Download their 2022 report here so see what exciting projects will be rolling out across our campus soon!

The Carbon Fund committee is looking forward to reading your proposal for their next application cycle!
Submit by November 7, 2022 to be considered.

The Bike Shuttle is up and running for the Summer! Trips depart Mission and Olive at 7:30, 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. Monday-Friday. 

Go Santa Cruz County provides you with rewards just for choosing sustainable travel! UCSC affiliates are eligible for additional rewards this fall.


If biking is not an option for you:

Take advantage of the Vanpool Program! There is a new vanpool route from Salinas! Join the vanpool program for a better, and a LOT cheaper, commute option that is already subsidized.
