The Faithfulness of Our God

Dear Friends,
I want to take this moment to say a BIG THANK YOU for your response to the recent food relief email I sent to you. You truly are a blessing to the Kingdom of God. We were able to raise $8,000 to buy food for many families who are in a very bad situation! I cannot express enough how grateful they were for the food they received.

Many cried with joy expressing how they were going to bed hungry for so long and that they are finally going to have a real meal for their family. God bless you friend!

Now Let Me Tell You a Story about Mapendo:

Three weeks ago Mapendo brought two children to the Ambassador to the Nations Feeding Center in Kavumu. Her two children were completely limp with little life, merely skin covering bones. My team immediately took those babies to the hospital, There did not appear to be hope for the two babies' survival. The babies could not chew nor open their mouths. All treatment at the hospital was intravenous, including food. The doctor said he had done all that he could… but God!

Three days later the kids were moving and were able to swallow water and a soft drink. A week later the children were sitting but were still too weak to stand, and; as I am writing this letter these children are alive and well at our Recovery Medical Center. Praises only to God Himself!

I tell you this one story because I want you to know that this is how you are saving many lives in the Congo. Without your prayers, love and support these children could not be alive today. Many families are going to bed hungry, especially young children and women are suffering in the Congo more than ever. We know that what the enemy meant for evil God is changing it for our good.

With the food relief, we are having a big opportunity to share the gospel in the community, and many are giving their lives to Jesus. They now know Jesus is the only solution to every problem including food for their families. This is how Pastor Bisimwa (in Congo) said it, “with the act of love we are showing to many communities, people are accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior.”
He said you have made his job easy to preach the gospel!

Dear friends we are living in the last days. One of the commandments Jesus told us was to love one another and truly you are demonstrating that love more than I can ever say.

Thank you so much for loving the people of the Congo. I am thankful that you are not going to let me fight this fight alone. Together we are strong!
