I hope you are keeping safe.

Pyrford Neighbourhood Forum is pleased to announce that local historian, Ian Wakeford, has kindly agreed to host a guided walk around Pyrford Village, talking about various local heritage assets, on the afternoon of Sunday 3rd July.

The walk, estimated to be about 4 miles, will start from Wheeler’s Farm Barn on Warren Lane promptly at 2pm and finish at around 4pm.

Car parking is available in the field next door (left on photo below), best approached form the Church Hill side.


 Please could you be arrive by 13:45.

The walk will take in views of Pyrford escarpment, heritage assets around Pyrford Green Village and The Old House, the views from the escarpment and the Pyrford Village Conservation Area around St Nicholas Church, which will be open, and then back to Wheeler’s Farm.

There will be plenty of stops, during which Ian will give historical details of various building and covering other features, including the village rich history.

As some of the walk is in on UNEVEN AND SLOPING ground, along footpaths and along the edge of fields, walking boots are strongly advised and the walk requires good mobility.

The Forum would like raise some monies towards its running costs and campaign fund, so there will be a charge for this event of £10:00.
