Join the Fit4Life project!

The Fit4Life groups have ended, and the project team is planning for autumn. Thank you to everyone who participated in the groups during Spring 2022! We will go through the feedback and aim to improve ourselves every time.

In the autumn the groups will continue in the same places at the same times. Registering for the groups happens online and the forms can be found in many languages.

Ikänaiset retki

On May 12th, our elderly women’s group visited the Korkeasaari Zoo in Helsinki, which is one of the oldest zoos in the world established in 1889. We had 15 participants who were divided into two groups to explore the zoo.

The dancing peacock, playful lions, and hungry tiger were some of the highlights of the trip. The participants enjoyed the day with an outdoor lunch in Laavu, a Finnish lean-to-shelter that is usually found in the forest.

Get ready to register for next season!

Right now almost all of our classes have ended, but very soon we will send the registration to enroll for the next season, which will start in August. We are very excited to share with you the new schedule. You can expect more classes and new activities! As always, our goal is to create a safe space for women from different backgrounds. Every woman is welcome!!

Mentor on the Move final event

Another Mentor on the Move season has come to an end. We want to thank all the participants, mentors, and actors. We are planning an alumni networking meeting for the participants of all the seasons.

There are a lot of new things going on in the project and we are hoping to take it to the next level. Hopefully, we succeed in that and can inform you later with good news.

Swimming courses

Swimming courses are coming to an end on 18.6.2022. The new season is supposed to start in autumn around August.

We are happy to announce that the water fear groups we started earlier in the spring, have become a success.

Many participants have already overcome their fear of water!

Join Bootcamp class!
