Disaster Recovery Center in Skagit County to help survivors of the November flooding and mudslides. The center is located at Old Sedro-Woolley Library, 802 Ball Street, Sedro-Woolley, WA. Open Monday to Saturday 9am-8pm, Sunday noon-6pm.

The Celtic Arts Foundation has announced that they will be presenting the Skagit Valley Highland Games this year as a one-day event on July 9, 2022. Billed as a kind of “Scottish 3-ring circus" with a wide range of activities for young and old alike, the games are part of an annual circuit of Scottish competitions held in the Pacific Northwest and Lower Mainland of British Columbia. The quality of performers in solo bagpiping and drumming competitions, bagpipe bands, fiddling, traditional Scottish athletics (the “heavy” events) and Scottish Highland dancing is at an extremely high level.
