Save money in more affordable locations

With cost of living going up, many of us are looking for ways to cut down on day to day expenses. Housing is the obvious and usually biggest opportunity to save. If you are not tied to a specific location, there are some hidden gems to be found all across the country. Moving to a smaller town or village can offer so much more space, larger rooms and outdoor space. Why not try a different area for a change, meet some new people and start afresh? Give it a try on a temporary basis for six months and see if it works for you, whilst saving up a little money at the same time.

Take a look at the selection below, like Anna’s large room in a converted manor house, this farmhouse shared by a sociable group near Oxford, or Dana’s friendly home by the seaside. Enter a region or county in the search field on the website to see more rooms across a wider area.

Have a wonderful Sunday,
Nick & Eva
