This Saturday, June 11, 2022, you can experience a docent-led tour of Pond Farm, and learn about the history of this significant cultural site that is on the National Register of Historic Places, and soon to become a National Historic Landmark. Learn about the dreams and challenges of Marguerite Wildenhain and her students. Marguerite produced work now recognized as masterpieces in the ceramics field, and was the first woman master potter to graduate from the Bauhaus. Her high standards of artistic excellence in art and teaching provide an important legacy, mission and “brand” for Pond Farm.
Tour starts at 9:30AM. Space is limited, click here to make your reservation.
Currently, Pond Farm is host to Stewards' Artist in Residence program. Artists spend one month living in the studio located next to the pottery barn, immersing themselves in their art, local nature, and the park.
