PLAYLIST: APRIL NEW MUSIC (MEGA BLAST!)
In today's episode of the pod, the lovely and talented Eric Lohrenz joined us to discuss music from the year 2002. He picked out two albums and two songs — and mentioned a bunch of other good stuff from that year.

Here's an assorted sampler of those tunes. Dig in like you were just given a box of Whitman's chocolates. (We'll take the caramels if'n you don't mind).

Thanks Eric!

THE LATEST FROM SUBURBS POD RADIO LAND
All the way past the left of the dial

Rockin' the Suburbs Radio is now streaming music 24/7 at http://suburbsradio.com

You can now find the Suburbs Radio archives on Mixcloud. Most episodes will post 5-7 days after their original airing. Check out the archives!

Also if you’re an Android user, please visit the Google Play Store and download our dedicated Rockin’ The Suburbs Radio app.

Some upcoming highlights:

5-6 pm ET Fridays: According to the CDC, Vasant Ramamurthy’s My Noise has been known to cause tinnitus. We still suggest you tune in.

5-7 pm ET Fridays: On your commute home is the highway packed with broken heroes? Don’t fret, tune into The Last Chance Power Drive hosted by Jim Lenahan

11 AM - 1 PM ET Saturday: Catch Mike Kohli’s Walking At A Suburban Pace. If you’re still walking by the end of the show then you’re probably part of our core demographic. All Day Saturday and Sunday: Catch replays of all of the shows from this week.

7-9 pm ET Sundays: Join Scott Parks as he plays selections from his personal collection of Reel to Reels, Floppy Discs, and Piano Rolls on My Collection.

9-11 pm ET Mondays: If you shower every third day then you’ll likely want to tune into The Grateful Deadish Hour hosted by Rob Gates (We hear he showers and listens to the Rockin’ The Suburbs Podcast everyday).

5-7 pm ET Mondays and Thursdays: Patrick Foster (aka The Mr. Patty) takes you on trips your feeble mind never considered, or even thought possible on Red, Hot & Brew. Also, bank at 7-11 and dance the Slurp everyday.

8-9 pm ET Tuesdays: He may have gotten a tan on vacation but you can still expect a whole mess of tunes on Miscellaneous Debris

9-11 pm ET Wednesdays: Canada has brought us Celine Dion, Shania Twin and Anne Murray. I don’t think you will hear any of that on Gerald Chyzenski’s North of the Border.

2-4 pm ET Thursdays: Carl Anfenson is hoping for a Five Star rating from you while he navigates the Sonic Side Streets

It's all at http://suburbsradio.com. If we were on a dial, it would be all the way to the left.
