OUT NOW 🖇️

🍦 Hannah Georgas: "Right Love" single ☀️

Surprise! Hannah's new single is now streaming—a breezy summer song released just in time for her American tour kick off next week.

Tue, July 19: Songbyrd Music House, Washington, DC
Wed, July 20: Public Records, Brooklyn, NY
Thu, July 21: World Cafe Live, Philadelphia, PA
Sat, July 23, 2022 — Newport Folk Festival, Newport, RI

Attentive listeners will recall the song was first heard last year, exclusively in an episode of the cult TV show The Bold Type — viewable on Freeform/Hulu. We're not into hyperbole but "Right Love" is already on our short list of the catchiest singles ever released on Brassland. Streaming services seem to agree: both Spotify and Apple Music have added the song to their key Indie/Alternative new music playlists.

Says Hannah: "I was waiting for the 'right' moment to share it and thought it would be nice to set it free this summer. I recorded 'Right Love' at Long Pond with Aaron Dessner and Jon Low while we were working on my album All That Emotion. We decided to not include it on the album because it had a bit of a different feel — kinda summer-y. The song was inspired by feelings that come up when you meet someone new that you have a connection with. It all feels exciting and fresh. You want to be in the moment and not get too wrapped up in things, but there's a small part of you that wonders if it could be something more than a fling."

It's been a few years since Hannah performed outside Canada and she's excited to see everyone!  Find ticket links above except for Newport Folk Festival, which is SOLD OUT. Zelma Stone supports all Hannah's club dates.

Praise for All That Emotion

Now's is also a great time to catch up with Hannah's ALL THAT EMOTION cycle. It began with an Aaron Dessner produced album in 2020 and extended over two complimentary EPs in 2021. There is a stripped back version (ATE ACOUSTIC) and a 'versions' release featuring collaborations with extended family members like Matt Berninger (The National), Bartees Strange, Kate Stables (This Is The Kit) and Owen Pallett (ATE VERSIONS). Here's what people thought of ATE:
