Join AAUW CEO Gloria Blackwell on Wednesday, May 25, at 11 a.m. ET, for her conversation with Nikole Hannah-Jones at the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL). We invite you to join the virtual keynote at the members-only rate of $50

Nikole Hannah-Jones is the Pulitzer-Prize-winning creator of “The 1619 Project” and a staff writer at The New York Times Magazine

Her groundbreaking work reframed American history by putting the consequences of slavery at the center of our national narrative. She spent her career investigating racial inequality and injustice, and her reporting has earned her the MacArthur Fellowship, a Peabody Award, two George Polk Awards and the National Magazine Award three times.

AAUW’s Inclusion and Equity Committee invites you to participate in a virtual webinar...

Social Justice: Creating Change
Thursday, May 26, 7 p.m. ET

Trish Garner (Oregon) and Ana Nygren (Arizona)

Social justice is at the core of what AAUW does every day. Whether at the national, state or local level, AAUW staff, volunteers and members work hard to build a more equitable world. What does it mean to support social justice, and how is that different (or the same) as racial justice and economic justice? Please join us for a discussion of these critical issues.
