So many of us, so many of our loved ones, and so many of God's dear children throughout the world are struggling in the midst of illness, pain, and grief. At the same time, all of us find ourselves surrounded by circumstances we can't control and problems that are too big for us as individuals to tackle. In times of sickness, sadness, and uncertainty, it helps to know we're being held in prayers for healing, strength, peace, and love. Praying also helps those of us who are doing the praying to grow in faith and love, as we learn to quiet our hearts and minds to receive the gift of shalom, the holistic peace and sense of well-being that come from God alone. 

     Thank you once again for your faithfulness and perseverance in prayer. It means so much more than you and I can ever imagine!
