THIS WEEK'S ARTS & HUMANITIES HIGHLIGHT
Happy summer! Since this week's talk presented by HRC's Citizenship Lab will bring us to the Rio de la Plata Basin, a body of water between Argentina and Uruguay, consider having some yerba mate (pronounced yer-ba mah-tay) to get you in the mood. This caffeine-packed tea is always consumed hot and traditionally served in a container called gourd and sipped with a metal straw that has a filter to strain out leaf fragments. Sharing it from this traditional gourd is said to be a sign of friendship and bonding. Drink some tea and join us on Wednesday at 9am. Learn more about the talk here and under "Upcoming Events".
