RD38 MEETING WEDNESDAY JUNE 1, AT 7 – LIBRARY ONLY
The June RD38 monthly meeting will be an in-person only meeting at the South Coastal Library in Bethany Beach. Given technical limitations at the library there will be no virtual (Zoom) attendance. Unless restrictions return the meetings are expected to continue on this schedule (in-person only, at 7, at the Library). The guest speaker – tentative at this point – will be from the Colleen Davis campaign. The draft agenda is available to download (pdf or docx). The draft minutes of the May meeting are not yet posted.
An expected point of discussion will be planning and arrangements for the RD38 reorganization caucus necessitated by the redistricting. We expect guidance from state and county party officials on this before the meeting. The Caucus will elect the new panel of Committee People, who, in turn, will elect the Committee officials. Step up to help fight to save Democracy in the United States.

COUNTY SPRING DINNER SET FOR SATURDAY MAY 28
The County Party Spring Dinner, the main fundraiser for the party is set for the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. It will be at the Georgetown Cheer Center and begin at 5:30. Keynote speaker will be former U.S. Rep. Tony Coelho. More details and ticketing info are available (pdf or docx).
OTHER EVENTS OF NOTE
The Indian River School Board will be meeting Monday, May 23 at Indian River High School at 7.
The Sussex County Council will be meeting Tuesday, May 24 at 10, in the Council Chambers in Georgetown.
