Verse Magazine is now taking submissions for Edition #47.

Verse Magazine is the perfect way to have your work published and showcased to the UniSA community. Submissions are open to all UniSA students for anything and everything from photos to poems to articles and beyond!

UniSA’s Images of Research and Teaching 2022 Competition

UniSA’s Images of Research and Teaching Competition returns in 2022, to celebrate our students and researchers by showcasing your unstoppable teaching, learning and research. We encourage you to enter an inspiring image or video, that tells a story about what we do and the people who make it happen. Fantastic prizes are available ranging from $1,000 – $5,000, along with the possibility of your submission being featured in lights on the Bradley Building LED screen.

The competition closes 18 July 2022

Connect & meet new friends studying at UniSA through Student Penpals!

Penpals are a great way to learn about different cultures, become a friend for life or just branch out and try something new! The Student Penpals is a fun, educational, and rewarding opportunity to connect and meet new friends while studying at UniSA. Open to all UniSA students - Online, International, External and Domestic.

How does it work?
Are you looking to connect with fellow students in 2022, but not sure where to start?
  • Read the Terms of Service to make sure you are on board with the program.
  • Sign up with your details - choose traditional snail mail or email. 
  • Wait for an email in your UniSA inbox from USASA introducing you to your Penpal.
  • Check out the FAQ & helpful resources to assist you in getting the most out of the program.

As assessments and assignments are due, now is a good time to learn about USASA’s Academic Advocacy support!⁠

The USASA Advocates can help you understand academic policies and procedures, advise you as to what is happening, and what to do. Their expert advice and knowledge of processes will help you pursue your student rights.⁠

Brekky Bar will be recognising National Reconciliation Week with Aboriginal food and drink being served up from Bush Tukka, Something Wild, Bush Pot Tii as well as Vilis. Students can enjoy live music from Aboriginal musicians and be able to take away a native product to try at home!
