Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood have announced an all-new maze for 2022: "Universal Monsters: Legends Collide". This original haunted house will feature Universal Pictures' most notorious horror icons - The Wolf Man, Dracula, and The Mummy - in an epic battle transporting guests to the 19th century with the trio of monsters seeking one thing: The Amulet of Ra. The Wolf Man believes this ancient relic contains the power to finally lift his dreaded curse, while Dracula and The Mummy have nefarious plans to use it to bring humankind to its knees. With the full moon on the rise and a race against time, guests find themselves entangled in a bloodthirsty battle between the terrifying titans – and only one will survive. Elevating the mayhem, GRAMMY® Award-winning musician, SLASH, returns to collaborate with Universal Studios Hollywood with an original composition for their haunted house. Halloween Horror Nights begins on Friday, September 2nd in Orlando with 10 terrifying haunted houses and Thursday, September 8th in Hollywood with eight frightening haunted houses. Both events will run select nights through Monday, October 31st, and additional details will be revealed soon. Tickets and vacation packages are now on sale for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort, and tickets for Universal Studios Hollywood will be available soon

Two fires broke out at Wild Woods of Terror (Saginaw, Michigan) on Tuesday, May 17th. The first of which is believed to be arson and the second is still under investigation. Morgan Krotzer, a 27-year-old woman from Clio, MI was arrested on a third-degree arson charge after being found at the scene with a lighter in her pocket. In a May 20th Facebook post Wild Woods of Terror management described the extent of the damage to the property, writing "Our building that housed all of our animatronics, costumes, props, ticket booth, makeup, masks, storage, and maintenance equipment was burned to the ground. The entire building is a total loss. Also the brand new finale scene at the end of the trail that was the location of multiple RV and Campers were also torched and burnt down. We are in total shock of the situation and it's just a waiting game to see how it all plays out. Our plan is to rebuild! We have been plagued with issues ever since acquiring but we will continue on and hope to open on schedule this Fall."
