SAVE THE DATE: Integrating Gender Equality and Human Rights in SCF2 Events - SCF’s learning webinar 2022
SEI Asia is supporting grantees in the integration of gender equality and human rights into the SCF2 programme, including through interactive exchange along the event design, delivery and evaluation processes. This involves both sharing of bespoke resources as well as a learning webinar. The resources comprise two Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) and a Guidance Note.
This learning webinar is for all SCF2 grantees. A minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 representatives from each consortium are expected to join the webinar. Within this, the lead organization must be represented; members of partners organizations are also encouraged to participate. The representatives are expected to share the learnings from the webinar back to the consortium.

ASEAN-China Environmental Cooperation Week 2022
ASEAN countries and China are important partners in eco-environmental protection, climate change response, disaster prevention and reduction, and poverty alleviation. In a bid to boost climate-adapted city development in China and ASEAN member states, address challenges to “economic-social-environmental” sustainable development and fulfill the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, ASEAN-China Environmental Cooperation Week 2022 will be held on 22-24 June, 2022.
SEI will lead Climate Adaptation Cities and Clean Ocean: Marine Plastics (Micro-plastic) Pollution Prevention and Reduction Action and Climate Adaptation Cities and Community Solutions: Sustainable Community and Smart Solutions.

The Asia-Europe Environment Forum is open for registration!
“SMEs Going Circular: Decarbonisation of Food Supply Systems” is a 2-day international conference which will take place virtually on 28-29 June 2022, with the aim of boosting the exchange of ideas and solutions focusing on the decarbonisation of the agri-food industry.
Representatives of governments, private sector involved in agri-food, and related stakeholders participating in the food supply chains from Asia and Europe will have the opportunity to share experiences, including challenges and best practices, on food systems aspects of production related to circular economy, and solutions for effective decarbonisation of agri-food system.

Huairou Commission joined the 7th session of the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction as the convener of the Community Practitioners Platform for Resilience, where community organizers and grassroots women leaders from disaster risk communities shared their knowledge and resilience building efforts.
